Welcome to this month’s Local Real Estate Update from David Smith Homes,
I’m excited to announce that I’ve been nominated as a finalist for the 2018 Inman Innovator Awards in San Francisco this July. This is quite the honour as there are only 16 finalists globally.
Ironically, the ‘blurb’ they have written about me doesn’t seem particularly ‘innovative’, but it does make me proud – “David Smith’s emphasis on face-to-face service, executing on what he’s promised to do, and truly listening and responding to client questions and concerns has helped him build appreciation and trust with clients — and earned him lots of business in the competitive Vancouver real estate market.”
Although there are innovative elements at David Smith Homes, and I don’t want to unfairly fail to acknowledge that, the blurb basically describes me as a dependable and trustworthy person, which is what I’m trying to build this business on.
Simply to be a finalist is an honour, and I continue to be grateful to my clients, friends, and the real estate industry for their continued recognition. Thank you all!
