Photo of The Month – January:

Usually we’d use this section of the newsletter and blog to feature a photograph but this month we’re highlighting a floorplan. This image was from our first listing of the year, a spacious townhome in Walnut Grove that we hope to sell tomorrow evening!

The reason we’re highlighting it this month is that through making the additional investment in a professional floorplan we were able to market just how spacious it really is! The municipal data from the original plan showed 1,390sq.ft but by having it professionally measured we found over 1,500sq.ft, clearing a significant psychological threshold.

These measurements cost us between $300-600 per listing, but the difference they can make for the seller is profound. Not only do we often find increased square footage, but prospective buyers have access to an accurate floorplan too.
