Those of you that have been part of the David Smith Homes Group community from the beginning may remember the video from eight years ago in which I featured an interview with my Mum about what I’d learned from her and the way she’s run her business
We wouldn’t offer the level of service that we strive for if it hadn’t been for the inspiration gained from my Mum and Dad’s care for their clients in their small law firm and estate agency in Scotland over the decades.
Last month they took a trip island hopping across the Hebrides, the stunning isles clinging to Scotland’s West Coast, to celebrate a significant milestone toward their retirement.
Although we’ve spent almost half my lifetime separated by 7,000 kilometers, we’ve always been a close family and I wanted to honour them here for their decades of ‘people over property, always.’ without ever putting the words to it.
