Awards

Combined with our testimonials, the below awards affirm that the David Smith Homes Group are on the right path with how we serve our clients and communities, winning multiple international, national, and local awards. Although it seems every Realtor can call themselves ‘award winning’, many of the below truly are unusual.

We thank you all your support, we couldn’t have won any of the below without you!

International Awards:

Inman Innovator Award (2018) – Having spoken about his unique ‘advocacy’ approach to 4,500 real estate professionals in San Francisco at the Inman Connect Conference, David won this international award. It is another example of our group being included amongst the most innovative on the continent.

Video Influencers Award (2018-2019) – This award is particularly meaningful as it directly influences our ability to serve our seller clients. Winning in both 2018 and 2019, we were nominated for a listing videos award, along with over 1,300 others internationally, and landed in the Top 10, the only winners from Western Canada. This award shows that our marketing is distinctive enough to achieve international attention, attention that can be shared for the sale of your home.

National Awards:

Royal LePage National Chairman’s Club Award (2020) – Awarded to the top 1% of Royal LePage agents nationally. Royal LePage is the largest Canadian owned brokerage in Canada. David is proud to be an owner in two Royal LePage brokerages.

Top 35 Under 35

Royal LePage 35 Under 35 Award (2020) – Royal LePage remains at the forefront of the real estate industry in Canada in part by celebrating younger leaders within the industry. David was honoured to receive this national award in 2020. David strives to help other younger Royal LePage real estate professionals achieve all they can for themselves, their families, their clients, and their respective communities.

Local Awards:

Royal LePage Wolstencroft Service Award (2017) – There are only two awards unrelated to ‘production’ offered by the brokerage, the professionalism award (above) and the service award – David has been honoured to win both individual distinctions. The service award recognizes the fundraising efforts David has engaged in, his advocacy of local businesses and non-profits, as well as his service to the brokerage and the real estate board through sitting on various committees.

Royal LePage Wolstencroft Bridget Houghton Professionalism Award (2017) – This award is meaningful to David as it was voted on by his near 200 peers at Royal LePage Wolstencroft. It’s one thing to observe David through social media, but they see his work on a day to day basis in person, and they understand in a way that only fellow Realtors can what it takes to run our business the way we do. The trophy is named after our former broker, and David had the opportunity to present a bursary to a high school student in her memory.

Royal LePage Red Diamond Award (2020)
 – Awarded to the top 1% of Royal LePage agents in their respective marketplaces. Royal LePage is the largest Canadian owned brokerage in Canada. David is proud to be an owner in two Royal LePage brokerages.

Fraser Valley Medallion Award (2017-2020) – The simplest of all awards, the ‘Medallion Award’ is for those Realtors in the top 10% in transaction volume for all members of the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board. David has never been outside of the top 10% of Realtors in the Fraser Valley since becoming a Realtor. David and Lindsay were part of a Top 10 team in the Fraser Valley in 2020. We always intend on remaining a productive team without compromising our value and hope each year to remain in the top tier of Realtors.

Langley Times Readers Choice Award
(2017-2018) – As important, if not more important, than international awards, we were awarded Langley Times Readers Choice awards for two years running. Langley is not the only market that we serve, but it is the one we work in most commonly, and one we are deeply passionate about. Thank you to all those that voted for us.

*All awards are according to the named organization’s statistics for the years listed.
