My husband and I have moved…a lot. At one time we had 11 moves in 11 years of marriage. We’re now at 12 moves in 20 years – the trend is moving in a positive direction.
Additionally, we have lived in every type of housing situation – old farm house in rural Ontario with the white carpet in the bathroom to a concrete house in a village in Southeast Asia with no windows (just bars and screen as is the norm there) to a 2 1/2 storey nearly 100 year old red brick Victorian in a tourist town, to our wonderful Langley home.
All this to say – as David and I are working together with sellers, who are making the transition out of the home that holds memories and stories, and the buyers who are anticipating a new lifestyle in a new home – I feel like I can relate on many levels to the many emotions and also the cold-hard facts involved in this major transition. It is a joy to be able to be a part of this process.
