2017 Awards

2017 couldn’t have been a more significant year for David Smith Homes, the results we achieved together led to an incredible haul of awards from the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board and Royal LePage in every category – professionalism, service, and production.

I’m glad to share these awards with my supporters. If you’re interested in knowing more about the individual awards, click ‘read more’ below.

2017 was an incredible year in the growth of David Smith Homes, none of which would have been possible without you, so I’m thankful to have the opportunity to share the below awards with you.

The Bridget Houghton Professional Award: Of the four awards I was honoured with this last month, this is the most personally meaningful as it was voted on by my peers at Royal LePage Wolstencroft. It’s one thing to observe David Smith Homes through social media, but they see my work on a day to day basis in person, and they understand in a way that only fellow Realtors can what this year’s accomplishments have required. The trophy is named after our former broker, and I will be proud to present a bursary to a high school student in her memory.

The Royal LePage Wolstencroft Service Award: There are only two awards unrelated to ‘production’ offered by the brokerage, the professionalism award (above) and the service award – I was astonished to walk away with both individual distinctions. The service award too into recognition the fundraising efforts we’ve engaged in together, our advocacy of local business and non-profits, as well as my service to the brokerage and the board through sitting on various committees.

Fraser Valley Real Estate Board Medallion Award: The most prestigious of production awards among Fraser Valley Realtors, this signifies membership in the medallion club, the top 10% of agents based upon their number of transactions. Amanda and I enjoyed a lovely evening celebrating in Vancouver, a wonderful cherry on top of the year.

Royal LePage Master Sales Award: This certificate is awarded by Royal LePage corporate for achieving a certain commission level. It’s not an award I’ll wave around, but it does signify the gift of being able to provide for my family whilst Amanda continues to stay home with the kids – something I remain grateful for.

Once again, I’d like to thank you all for your ongoing support and referrals. Over 50% of the transactions I was involved in last year came from those referrals.
